Strangetown Extras: Jaxy Rai's sexy pinup calendar + the man without a chin

This is mostly for [personal profile] madame_ugly, who demanded a closeup of Jaxy's calendar (boy, are you ever demanding *snicker*).

Those short shorts are pretty hot. I like that the chick seems to be tinkering with that that old piece of junk (or at least pretending to), instead of just posing on the hood of a car.

Jaxy is autonomously viewing the calendar in this shot, which she does frequently. Each time, she claps her hands in approval. I find it so weird when sims do things like that to stay in character.

The calendar is part of the Days of the Week - Calendar Pack by Fantasyrogue on MTS2. Other themes include cute toddlers, sim pets, cars, and nature. The text is in simlish too, which is a bonus. My only complaint is that the colours are a little bright. The white of this calendar is nearly blinding, and it sticks out from its surroundings a little.

I also mentioned making a Gunnar icon. I took a photo to showcase his handsome profile. What do you think?

Nice. He really does have NO CHIN.

I should feel bad for picking on poor Gunnar, but I don't, really.

Gunnar did move out, because he graduated, making him the first LFT student to move out of that campus where time stands still, or close to it. I know you want to know what you transitioned into, so here it is...

*cue laugher*

Oh, Kitchen and Bath, how you have enriched my game.

He's the one who is painting all the Grilled Cheese paintings, by the way. I gave him that as a secondary aspiration, in an attempt to make him more appealing to play, and the paintings were a novelty, so it sort of worked.

I was hoping to post part 3 tonight, but I'm not quite happy with all of the pics, and I'm dead tired. I'll catch up on my comments and post the final section of chapter 24 tomorrow evening.

I love BV and its towels!! I usually put CAS into debug mode when I'm in it and get the towels that-a-way. :P

Can't wait to read the next part of the story! But I know real life does take a toll sometimes, lol! Fear not, we'll all be here to read it whenever it comes!

I keep forgetting about that debug mode. It would only be useful when you're creating a sim in CAS, though, so I would only be able to take advantage of it when I introduced a new character, so it's not good if I want to put a towel on someone for just one scene.

Well, it's not nearly as bad as the gap between part one and two. It wasn't so much life taking a toll, as total creative block. I think a lot of it was the point-of-no-return that I'm finding myself in. Since I have been wavering back and forth between so many different outcomes, it's a little intimidating to make a more definite call on it. There were some "should I or shouldn't I?" moments that I had to get through, but in the end, I decided that I "should" in all cases where I was doubtful. Why not? The worst I can do is mess up my sim story. *snicker* Why worry?

You can get debug clothes on an established character, but it's a bit of a pain. You'd have to create a CAS sim and drop him in with the family, and then move him out again. All of his clothes stay in the family's "dresser" even after he moves. But yeah, it's a bit of a pain. Downloads are good!

I don't think you could ever mess up your story!! It'll be great no matter how you tell it!

Yeah, that does sound like a huge pain, and then you have a CAS sim that you don't need, unless you needed to make one anyway.

Well, that's nice of you to say. :) We'll see if it's true. I suppose it IS Strangetown, so I'd have to go pretty far to go too far.
