Paler skin for Nervous?

I'm playing around with the idea of changing Nervous Subject's skintone to reflect the fact that he's supposed to be paler than other sims. Shown below are (from left to right) Maxis S1, Phobia's Pale 02, and Pale 01 (which are based on Kiki's PhasMaxian skintones). I'm thinking Pale 01 is too pale, but I'm sort of considering Pale 02. I do like the idea of Nervous being visually distinct and I may have an idea for the story that would work better if he could be identified by skintone alone.

Any thoughts?

Pale 2 is definitely good and believable. Pale 1 conjures up the scenario of everyone he meets wanting to check his pulse and surreptitiously checking that he's breathing.

I may have an idea for the story that would work better if he could be identified by skintone alone.

Pale 2 looks decent. Pale 1 reminds me of the shade I have seen very sickly sims sport. Since Nervous doesn't seem sickly, I'd go with 2 or just S1.

I like the idea of him with pale skin! I think the middle one works best out of the three, the lightest one is a bit blown out and lsot some detail.

I like the middle one! I avoid using extremely pale skintones because they clip out into a big white blob in bright lighting. I have Mortimer in a paler than S1 skintone and he pretty much glows in the dark, but that effect might be good for a supernatural character. It would be a good way for the character to stand out (and make it easier if you're shooting dark scenes.)

Cool idea giving Nervous a paler skin! :) I definitely think 02 looks best, paler than other sims but still "human". And You have already given him darker eyes than other brown-eyed sims, havn´t you? That´s also a gret idea! :D

I do think Pale 01 is a bit too pale, but I quite like Pale 02. It's very fitting for him, I think.

2 looks good, and I agree about 1. I love Pascal/Nervous so much that I recreate them in my custom neighborhood, with Nervous as a dormie and Pascal created later as a YA so they can get together in college. I use these skins, (http://disemporium.dreamwidth.org/7866.html) with the geneticized Flawless Lily for Nervous. It looks different in different kinds of lighting, and definitely paler in my game than in those pics. He's still a dormie, so I don't have a lot of pics of him, but here he is puzzling over his assignment at the gym, with a touch of vending machine glow:

I like this idea... a lot! pale 1 looks more dramtic to me, but could be hard to photograph properly.

Pale 2 looks good. Pale 1 looks kinda unnatural, yeah. (I made myself a skintone similar to Phobia's Pale 02. I think of it as S0. It sees a fair amount of use and it's definitely pale enough to be noticeable.)

Great idea! It makes sense that Nervous would be paler than other Sims. (It's not like he's been out much in the past decade)

I agree with you that pale 1 is too much. Makes him look like one of those porcelain dolls. Pale 2 looks like the best match of the three.

The middle one is perfect. I like the idea of Nervous being so pale, considering who sired him ;)
And I don't mind if he looks a bit sick, but the skin to the right is a bit too much.

He looks good in the middle one and it does sort of make sense that he'd be paler than the average sim. I wonder if his skintone made people curious about him when he was still with his mother.

On my monitor, the lightest has a slight greenish tint. I like a skin that light for him, but not that particular shade, if that makes sense.
