Ah, I see. :) I was thinking it might be more of a cultural thing, since I realized that I don't know where you are from and some parts of the world don't celebrate it the way we do in North America.
I'm not really one for scary movies and such either. For example, I regret ever looking up the Slender Man (please do yourself a favour and DON'T EVER DO IT)and watching some of the videos. I continue to think about it and freak myself out in the middle of the night when I'm up with the baby and walking by a window. I think I've always been a little scared of the dark, but I grew up in a place where there is much more wilderness than anything else and people (with good reason) really do believe in ghosts and fairies, etc.
Haha! We did call him a little pumpkin for a while, because my pregnancy was announced at my family's pumpkin growing contest party the previous year. :) He's doing great. We took him out to a couple of houses last night (just people we knew) and he wore a little pumpkin costume. Too cute.
Oh, I see. That's cool. Most people in the comm do tend to be from the States (with the UK being a close second, I think?), but I try not to assume.
Yeah, it's actually an online thing, and sort of like the Blair Witch Project, documenting it as if it was real. Just... don't. It scared the crap out of me forever.
We were fine here. Sandy bypassed the maritime provinces completely and just hit Ontario and parts of Quebec. We had a really nice, sunny day, in fact. Thanks for asking. :)
