Strangetown extras: Another painting recolour

So, I recoloured another painting, and I tried one of the poster formats this time. I even put some text on the poster, using this great simlish font by SIMale on MTS2. To show off the results, I've put together a little scene with Johnny and Ripp.

Ripp: So where is this present, Johnny?

Johnny: It's in your bedroom.

Ripp: I can't believe you bought me a present. Is it because I did the dishes?




Johnny: Now, don't get too excited, okay? It's nothing that great.

Ripp: Just show me, already!




Johnny: Okay. Here it is!

Ripp: Oh my god! It's awesome! Where did you get this?




Johnny: I just saw it at SimMart. Check out the cheesy lens flare!

Ripp: Check out the rockin' bodies! Fuck, they're hot. So which one would you choose?

Johnny: For what?

Ripp: You're fucking kidding me, right?

Johnny: Oh... right. Well, the one on the left -

Ripp: Angela.

Johnny: Okay, Angela. She seems nice.




Ripp: So you'd do her?

Johnny: Yeah, I guess so. I don't know. I mean, it's completely hypothetical. I have a girlfriend, and why would either of them want to sleep with me, anyway? They're famous actresses! And I don't even know them. What if we had nothing in common?

Ripp: That's so not the point of this game. You're not picking out your future wife, Johnny! You're just supposed to decide which one you want to bump uglies with.

Johnny: Okay, then which one would you pick? I guess you'll have to take the other one -

Ripp: Lilith.

Johnny: Right... Lilith. You'll have to take her, if I already picked Angela.




Ripp: This isn't like picking teams for sports, Johnny. I can pick the same one.

Johnny: Well, that's convenient.

Ripp: What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

Johnny: Nothing. Just convenient... like, I could drop her off with you after we were finished our date.

Ripp: Who says you'd get first crack at her?

Johnny: Ripp, I'm not taking a "crack" at anyone, okay?

Ripp: Besides, why would I pick just one of them, when they come as a sweet matching set?

Johnny: Wasn't that the point of the game?




Ripp: Thanks for the present, John! You're the llama's ass!

Loved that. And the poster looks professionally done, like an in-game poster, it's amazing! Plus now I SO want Ripp to meet them. I mean something wild has to happen there, right? Somehow Ripp is destined to come face to face with one or both, or maybe he could take a trip to the set of their show or something. That could be hilarious. ;)

Thanks! I'm glad you think so. The simlish font adds that extra flourish to make it seem more game appropriate, I think.

I do have an idea for that possibility in the story, but it might be a while before it happens. Just file it away in the back of your mind. *wink*
