Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I hope you all feel loved today, whether it's from a partner, friends, family members, or yourself (self love and self-compassion are important, too). It's a great day to reflect on the positive connections in your life.

To mark the occasion, I share with you this collage of some recent romantic happenings in the uberhood as I've played through it. Some are sweet, some are naughty, and some are just bad ideas all around! XD Hope you get a chuckle out of their antics. I know I did!

That's Connor Weir. They're one of my "why didn't I think of that?" perfect matches from playing the uberhood. He's not just a hottie, but business-minded and also a bit of a geek. A good match all around!

Max Flexor is Mitch Indie's roommate. They're from Academie Le Tour, and their whole schtick is that they're unlikely roommates. Max is supposed to be the sporty one.

I always struggle with Florence. She usually stays single in my game, because nobody seems to live up to my high expectations for her, but I like her with Connor. He seems to be a good match for her.

I know you're really into Florence/Lazlo, but I just can't get behind that one. I imagine Florence as a worldly, sophisticated type and Lazlo is so... not. :P

And the O'Mackey twins just bore me to tears. I feel a little bad about it, since they can't help being Face One males, but I can't really help the aversion I have to them. I also avoid playing the Davis twins for the same reason. I find them so boring! It's like there's nothing you can do to Face One to make it appealing and interesting to me. Terrible, I know.

I'm not as into Flo/Lazlo as some (ale comes to mind :)), but THEY'RE just so into each other, it seems right, even if they're very different types. I also like Lazlo with Erin, though, and Florence and Gabe were a good couple (and made interesting kids).

Hm, I guess Gabe and Jason are based on Face 1, I never really thought about it. They're quite edited, resulting in some odd looking toddlers, but yeah. I rather like Gabe, but the Greenmans bore me a bit. Plantsims are so... incredibly easy to play, I think that factors into it. Anyway, I agree about the Davis twins, plain straight face 1 is really dull, and they seem a bit... lacking in personality. I had Olive kill one of them once, though, THAT was fun. :D She's good for that. I had her kill off Kennedy Cox the other day, because after I realised he reminds me of Quagmire from Family Guy, I developed an irrational hatred for him.

Florence is loved up with Antonio Monty in my uberhood. And they did it all themselves. He kept coming to her shop and buying huge amounts of it. I got her to befriend him as I've noticed that friends of the business owner give the business more stars and so she got to have a level ten business. Anyway one day I was playing his family and I noticed that he had 3 bolts for Florence and a crush on her. So I invited her over and he kissed her and then they were in love. I've had her start a new community based flower shop in Veronaville.

The Max and Alex pairing was a blind date that Bella Goth set them up on (she was one of Alex's best friends for her LTW), using that Apartment Life townie bonus. It was an odd pairing, for sure, but I think they even had triple bolts.

I'm not interested in pairing Alexandra with anyone, really, but the date did have one lasting legacy: a son named Lennox. I'm still trying to decide who should adopt him.

Nah, I didn't guess Jimmy right, but I didn't spend too much time pondering it either as it was early this morning before I left for work. I did think the alien didn't really look like Stella or Lola. But yeah, all that uberhood stuff has made me almost a bit too familiar with the premades. :P

Cool. Whenever I say yes to those AL blind dates, I get something stupid, usually a hobby leader sim. :/

Yeah, Alex doesn't really seem the type to hook up (again, also lol pirates hooks), but she's got such interesting facial features. She had a son with a Twiikii local in my game, he got her nose and I was pleased. Anyway, that's cool, putting their offspring up for adoption! I never think to do stuff like that.
