Is there anything nicer than getting one of those surprise comments on the first chapter of your long-running story (that hasn't updated in dog's ages), saying the poster just discovered it and is enjoying it?

I wasn't sure whether or not I should post this as I didn't know if you would look back to the first few posts of your story, but I also recently discovered SHWC and I think it's amazing. I literally sat for about 3 hours, reading over the whole thing. It was like a book that you just can't put down.

Anyway, I just thought I should let you know how much I enjoyed it. If you continue it, I will most definitely be reading. :)

Hey! Two things: I just wanted to say that I'm currently re-reading your story and it's still just as awesome as when I started reading over 2 years ago, so thank you so much for putting the time and effort into all this. It really is amazing :) Secondly, I remember when I read your story the first time round you put a video up of your sister's (in law's?) band's music video, and I fell in love with that song but I've changed computer now and lost it! I've tried looking through your archive but I can't remember when you posted it and, heh, there are a lot of posts. Would you be able to give me the link again?

I'm one of them! I've started reading your story few days ago, I'm now at chapter 26th and I just want to read more and more. I have it on my iPhone so it's like having an actual book on hand: I just go for it whenever I can: on the bus, in the subway...
I'm loving it and it always make my day, thank you for sharing!
