Is there anything nicer than getting one of those surprise comments on the first chapter of your long-running story (that hasn't updated in dog's ages), saying the poster just discovered it and is enjoying it?

Just wanted to share the warm fuzzies and thank you for reading. ^_^ (That's you specifically, Anon, but also a you in general for readers. Readers are love.)

Three times? Wow, I feel so honoured! It makes me happy to know you enjoy it enough to re-read it. ^_^

Did you notice I'd been planting the seeds for some of the later developments from a very early point in the story? Some of the hints are fairly opaque, so I'm not surprised it took re-reading it to see them. Others are pretty obvious, though. :P
