Sand in the backyard?

Does anyone else get this sandy effect off in the distance from the lot view at the Summerdream house? I've seen it on other lots too, like in Bluewater Village, and I was wondering what causes it. Is it the same in other people's games? It's a pretty minor thing, but it kind of bothers me.

I never noticed that before, but after you mentioned it I checked on my game too. It's weird and random because, at least in my game, seems to come and go as I change hood or reload the game. Also, I can't see it from the hood view at first, but appears after playing the lot O_0

I even tried moving the lot for a test, and the same happens anywhere you place it, but the lot got all flooded after moving (it's on a test hood, jic), so I figured maybe the terrain inside the lot is, not only uneven, but also very low and that could be causing the sandy effect (like in the edges of the river in VV)
