How do I get plantsims to wilt?

Okay, this might be a very stupid question, but I'm hoping someone on my flist will know a little more about plantsims than I do. To get the wilt skin state, they have to reach 0 in their water meter, right? Are there any other factors?

Does anyone know of any hack conflicts that would prevent the wilt state from happening? Or maybe something that I could use to force the wilt state? I can't seem to dry those poor darlings up!

You got me curious so I had to check it out (what I suggested). I even dropped the plants needs all down to half and nothing happened.

I wonder if there's some magical combo of all needs (like they have to get just about to deaths door before it happens).

What worked for me was a bottomed out water meter (which makes sense to me for the wilting thing), and light and love also below 25%.

Try that and see if it works for you. We'll crack this thing yet.

I'm also thinking that they'd need to go to zero on all three meters to die, and they switch into "osmosis" mode after they get really low in water, and seem to draw moisture from the air. I think it'd be really hard to actually kill one.
