Prosperity Challenge: Life is just better in Llama Spit Cove.

Just in case you're curious to see all of the residents of my prosperity challenge neighbourhood, here is a little sneak preview. These are the original loading screen images, from when I moved them all in.

Davenport

Wolfe

Cole

Lamb

Fisher

Snow

The parents in the Wolfe and Cole families were immediately aged to elder when they hit the ground, since I wanted to do it that way instead of having a placeholder. Sure, it's an interesting backstory to have a dead parent, but I liked the idea of aging parents better, so that's how I handled that. That gives us four single elders in town, two single adults, and two married couples. Not to mention all of those children. I was going to post names and stats, but I will do some profiles later. For now, feel free to speculate as much as you like.

The name of the community is in the proud tradition of oddly named places in Newfoundland, which is where I live. Places like Conception Bay, Random Island, Herring Neck, Muddy Hole, Tickle Cove, Jerry's Nose, and Dildo (I kid you not). Check them all out here, if you don't believe me. You can't even make this stuff up.

I'm really looking forward to doing this challenge!

*smile* Yes, I agree. I'm enjoying the confident Tank clone. He looks quite similar, but he's a very different person.

Dick's alien daughter is sweet. She's a family sim, and she's already dating the son in the Snow family. Dick has a great family. You can't see the little boys so well, but they're so cute. (I'm glad I'm not the only one to find his name amusing. *snicker*)

Yes, it is. Catherine Lamb is Ophelia. So, you're better at the guessing game than you thought...

Wootwoot! I thought maybe I recognized the bump on Ophelia/Catherine's nose, but I haven't played her that much. Yet :)

Ophelia does have a pretty distinctive nose. It's easier to tell when you see a closer shot of her face.

So you have plans for playing her?

Your story has indeed given me a craving to play Strangetown :) The only trouble is I don't have Uni installed on my computer (it's a crappy one) and I really think both Ophelia and the Grunt-boys need a chance to spend some quality time with friends at La Fiesta Tech. They've had a rather lousy time as teens... Playing with aging off is only fun for so long, y'know *smile*

Oh, that's too bad. I love Uni. It's probably my favourite EP. It's a great place for sims to have fun with their friends, and your college days really are some of the best times of your life in many ways. (I don't even mind how long it is, since I can never spend too much time with my sims.)

I feel your pain about the crappy computer. I used to play on one that was so bad that I could barely see the faces, and it crashed all of the time.

I really love Uni too, and I especially miss the opportunity to get to know them a bit better before their lives get too serious. When I installed last I chose OFB over Uni just because it's been a while since I played a business. *sigh* It won't happen again :D

Oh, that's too bad. I'm glad that I'm lucky enough to not have to pick and choose between EPs like that, since there are things about all of them that I wouldn't want to lose now.
