Ripp lies, you see. He lies a lot, especially to Tank. He also tells the truth a lot, and maybe too much. He's a bit of a contradiction that way. (And saying that Frances jumped him is not technically a lie, but he neglects to mention that he made a move on him first. It's creative spinning of something that's technically still true, and easier to sell than a lie.)

Well, maybe Ripp will get another shot at his Servo romp. *snicker* I imagine it will come up again at some point. Tank is lucky to have Ripp around to force him into confronting his demons. Something similar happened with Frances too. He was pushed to the limit of what he'd accept there, and he came out of it on good terms with Frances. It's sort of ridiculous, but Tank almost NEEDS Ripp or someone like him (such as Beau) to tear through his life and force reactions out of him.
