Strangetown: outtakes and reflection

Hey, guess what?

I must admit that this is more outtakes than reflection. I don't have a whole lot to say right now, because I'm quite mentally (and also physically) tired. It's been a busy week. I will be back to respond to comments and such, though.

It's been so long since I posted outtakes, I decided to act on the urge to do them right away. I hope you have a giggle or two.




Romance sims always get a reaction from the crowd. I especially love Frances and Beau's synchronized swoon.




And here they go again.

I almost used this one, but it was just too silly.

Ripp's not really sure what to make of it.




But Johnny's here now, so he doesn't have to worry about it.

Ripp: JOHNNY! :D *plus plus*




Privacy is pretty hard to come by at this dorm.

Creepy cafeteria guy: *makes some rough sketches*




They will not be deterred, however!




I literally LMFAO when I read this.

Ripp is asking Beau out on an outing, because Frances gave him a tip. Oh, Ripp. You are something else.




It really is just an outing, though, with some of Ripp's closest friends: the other two sides of his triangle, his brothers, Franny, and Johnny's Mom. Oh, Ripp. Really? His MOM?

Beau: Hey, Franny's here! Cool!




Frances and Beau agree that Ripp is pretty hot. Again.




Beau goes a step further this time.

Beau: Congratulations on being a hot piece of ass.

Ripp: *plus*




Beau: Holy Simoleans, you are HOT!

Ripp: *plus plus*




Oh dear Lord, not another one.

Ophelia has mysterious sexy powers, you guys.

Johnny stinks, btw. I think he was playing sports back at home the last time I saved.




Ripp decides to sidle up to Jenny for some motherly approval.

Notice Frances putting the moves on Beau back there.

Also, notice Tank. He sees something he likes...




And it's Jenny. Oh dear.

Jenny had better be talking about the price of oil going up back there.

Frances and Beau are still at it back there. The boys never stop, I tell you.




Beau: EWWW! Johnny stinks!

Oh, and they have some cheerleaders too. Awesome.




Ophelia thinks she feels the urge to sneeze, but it ends up just being the urge to jump on Ripp and ride him like a wild stallion.




Frances decides to compliment Ripp about his "good reputation."

Whatever it was he complimented him on, it seems to have greatly disturbed Tank.




Frances: Johnny stinks! Please REMOVE him from my presence now!

Zombie alien bartenders with mohawks make the best drinks. Try one, and you'll agree.

They became enemies all on their own. I'm so proud of them.

I was getting seriously annoyed by how many Smiths and Curiouses showed up while they were at the rink. Attention whores, I tell you.

Did I mention that they only have two bolts? The romancing, it never ends!

(Frances wisely decided against the slightly flamboyant purple suit. Not that it mattered, in the end.)

Beau is surprisingly chill about it. The devils seem so pleased about it too. So wrong.

(I just clicked on the wrong one. :P I didn't save, obviously, because Beau got jealous and angry. But who can blame him for that?)

I've never EVER seen a sim want to streak before. Frances is really out of control.

That's not even talking about how he went romance sim there for a minute. His secondary is knowledge, so it's more than a little odd.

LMAO, really. This is part of what makes playing so much fun, the random autonomous stuff Sims do. That zombie alien bartender with a mohawk wins at everything ever, by the way. One of my hoods has a zombie bartender who must have low active and high outgoing points because he alternates standing there going "duhrhrhrhrr" and doing the "yo whasup" finger point. Gotta love unlocked skin tones.

Ripp has some serious hotness going on there, with practically everybody but his brothers swooning at him. And I swear elder female Sims have some kind of special attraction - my male Sims swoon over them all the time. Anther has heart-farted 4 different elder ladies in 2 different neighborhoods, including Crumplebottom. Mysterious sexy powers? Ophelia may have competition.

For a moment I thought that ACR had really gone wild on your game, what with dragging Dustin into a twisted love triangle with his own brother. Frances really has a lot of Romance sims wants and attitudes right now, then again, from the legacies I've read it is a fact that Knowledge sims can be pretty... lovable too! :P

Why are Buck and Ripp wearing matching outfits during the outing? That made me LOL. Among inviting Jenny to the outing!

I'm surprised Dustin agreed! Then again - did you change his sexuality, or is it just the game/ACR being weird? I did have a whoops moment with Lizzlove's swinger bed once, before ACR came into being - I didn't realise the default option was casual, and this straight sim (engaged, no less) was relaxing on it. I got this bi romance sim to relax next to him, just so the two guys would chat... pff. The romance sim (who's male) made moves on the supposedly straight one - I was expecting a rejection, but no! Made for a great story, at least ;)

This was FUN to read! I just loved the list of who went on the outing. Really, Johnny's mom too! The fact Beau got Crumplebottomed also made me laugh. You have such fun times with your Sims. I really should run my game more often.

I haven't played Dustin much, so I think he's set at a very low level of straight, and they're easily swayed. I also do not had Pescado's romance mod that makes it so much harder to have bisexual sims. My sims can usually be convinced, if I want them to be.

In fact, unless the sim is really, really straight, I've never had a problem with this. I've seen Johnny reject Ripp, though, when I was messing around with them for a laugh, and it was amusing. It didn't help that Ripp attempted to make out with him twice (and then fell in love with him, despite rejection). It's not really subtle.

Oh, and it wasn't autonomous. I clicked on Dustin to get Frances to woohoo with him. I was trying to get an extra shot with Beau, and I wasn't paying attention.

It's interesting that Dustion agreed, based on their low relationship level, though. I guess there's some chemistry there. (And we know how Frances likes to target whole families, right? :P)

Oh, Frances! How far he's come from that shy, awkward young man who first took in Tank as a roommate, even if his streaking and public woohoo desires are non-canon :)
