Having a sense of entitlement is how I view Johnny too. It probably comes with his "perfect" family, and also the fact that he's special because he's an alien (though he also views that as a disadvantage in some ways). That's an interesting assessment of his relationship with Ophelia, and maybe he isn't giving as equally as his is receiving, in that sense. I'm wary of the concept of being "In Love" as something different from simply loving someone. It comes in degrees, I suppose, but love is love to me.
Tank will come around, at least in some ways. You never know who might come into his life, if he lets them.
