The thought of Johnny not ending up with either of them never occurred to me, because I honestly don't think it's going to happen. It's obvious he likes Ophelia a lot, but even if something happens and they end up being friends, unless some other mystery woman shows up, Johnny will end up with Jayne. I think you're just saying that to lead me off the trail. *suspicious eyes* I feel like Johnny's the type who will seriously think about what his father is asking of him. He's the eldest son who has the obvious alien connection, so he'll want to do what's best for the alien in him. Obviously, he hasn't graduated yet, so there's still time for him to decide, but with PT not getting any younger, Johnny won't have the luxury of time to decide. (if there was a pool going about who he'd end up with, I do feel secure to bet money on someone).
It's true that Jill is the least alien, at least in appearance, so looking at her, PT might think that it's not necessary for her to marry another half alien. Though, it's not entirely impossible. There aren't any other male aliens I can think of, unless you have some waiting in the sim bim to introduce. If PT arranged the marriage with Jayne, I wonder if he'll do the same for the twins. They have the most alien in them, so wouldn't it be important to him to keep those alien genes alive? Even if he doesn't live that long, he may leave his wishes with Jenny to carry on after his death.
The way things are going so far, I have no qualms about the Grunt men getting along in the future. I'm not saying they're going to live next door to each and have dinner together all the time, but they'll at least be amiable and talk every once in awhile.
It's not like we need to see every moment of the investigation, but I wouldn't be surprised if you made a random general that may pop by and talk to people real quick. Nothing too permanent. Even if they found out if was Olive, it's not like she's going to be around that much longer. Even if she lives after freeing her son, she's not the type to care about the authorities, so it's really a moot point.
Just wanted to say that I liked the shots this update. Especially the balcony ones. Very very nice!!!
