Strangetown Extras: Worthington Portraits

I've been shooting some family portraits to make into painting recolours, so I thought I'd share one of the ones I've done so far. I think it came out pretty well.

They're standing in order of age, from back left to front right: Lillian, Edie, Charlotte, and Frances.

I like how easy it is to compare their genetics when they're side by side like this. As you can see, Edie's the only one who avoided their mother's non-chin.

I'm going to need a lot of these to decorate my new Worthington mansion, which I'll post about later (I'm really coveting Mansion and Garden stuff right now, but I'm supposed to wait for Santa to bring it). I'm doing some wedding portraits, and a couple of family group photos, and some baby stuff.

He's so adorable and awkward and I LOVE HIM.

Nice! And funny coincidence, 'cause just earlier this evening I was thinking about your version of Frances' family and trying to remember his sisters' names, 'cause I could only remember Edie. Looking forward to seeing more pictures, I love portraits like that, especially from different ages.

How did you go about making Frances' parents again, so that they have his features? I'm toying with the idea of making some families for some Maxis college students myself...

Nicely done! I love making portraits and then putting them on my Sims' walls. The houses look so much more personal then. And BTW, M&G Stuff is great. Hope you're getting it soon! :)

Frances looks so cute! I was just playing The Worthingtons yesterday, catching up Pleasanview for Super Secret Purposes.

And Edie looks fierce. MY BABBY!

Also, I did have a question, where do the Worthingtons live? I was going to stick them in the big house next to The Goth Manor, but I always assumed they lived in SimCity. (So that they'd be the Goths of Sim City, like the Landgraabs in Bluewater and the Goths in Pleasantview. Each Hood has its own Mega-rich family.)

Nice. I really need to not be such a puss and learn how to recolor pics.

(and when you mentioned school portraits the first thing I thought was those horrible ones with the black background and two images, one face on and then this floating profile image--damnit, I'm trying to find and image to share the horror)

Frances is so cute as a kid (and as a young adult, actually)! Great pic!

I really need to get around to doing some stuff like this for my hood. The only reason I haven't is because I'm so lazy.

Love it! And of course they're in their private school uniforms, hee. The personal pictures are a wonderful detail to add to decorating the homes (and mansions.)

Awww, they're all so cute. Now I'm quadruply tempted to download them... It's interesting how Francis appeared to have gone to a different school to the girls.

Nice picture! Awww... ickle Frances is so cute! :D

I really love the detail you put into your sets and background. I know it must take lots of time but your attention to detail really shows in the final product!

Didn't you once post a link to a tutorial on how to make custom paintings? I lost all my links with my old laptop.. and I'd really like to give it a try.

I truly need to download Frances' parents. One day. Very cute school picture.

Madame Ugly, that site you posted here was freakin hilarious!
