Oh, I wouldn't expect Tank and Ripp to suddenly be all buddy-buddy at all. It took me all through Ripp's stint in university with daily phone calls to get those two up to the best friend level they are now, and I still try to get them to chat frequently. Of course, I need to work the rest of the Grunts into a legacy update here soon, since I sort of forgot about them for a little while and the lot's gone weird (Buzz, Lyla, Tank, and Lilith are constantly pointing and laughing at nothing; I tried the lot debugger but they're still at it, so I'm probably going to have them abandon the old family homestead or just move 'em out, level the lot, rebuild and move 'em back in). Last we saw the elder Grunts Lyla was preggers, and last time I played she had her daughter... who is younger than her eldest niece and nephew. I'll work out an explanation that will suit, as I usually try XD

As for Buck... well, I know some people play him off as either gay or straight, but all I'm seeing when I go through these updates is a sensitive young man who's still trying to find his way through life. I think he'll make a wonderful father, whichever path he chooses. Yet I also think he and Jill would make a great couple (I'm trying to work that way in my Strangetown hood, just need to get her into LFT and see if with their differing aspirations what might happen: Buck's my main romance sim and Jill's aspiration is knowledge. I'm eager to see what happens!) I'm really looking forward to seeing what develops with the teens and how the Johnny/Jayne/Ophelia thing will be resolved.

After the Beakers are dealt with. I do hope that's coming soon??
