I love your theory. Nervous' special powers aren't very useful unless someone is going to DIE, though... so he'll be pretty useless unless someone is actually at risk of death. Even then, he might not be able to change this. He sees CERTAIN DEATH.

Not really. He's might be able to stop some death from happening, if he knew the cause of that death, and had the power to prevent it. But mostly... he doesn't. It depends on the situation, though.

I don't think Ajay is a douche in the story, as such but he's a bit superficial. His makeover was actually an attempt for me to like him (I like that curly mess I gave him for hair). I wouldn't say I really HATE hate him, but he's so bland. He's truly a bin-head, if there ever was one. I don't see him as an essential character in Strangetown at all.

I'm glad the hospital worked out in the end. Yup, you should keep it for exterior shots (it's awesome for that!), and stick with simple lots for interior ones. Your computer (and your patience) will thank you for that :D.

I agree with this comment. I just have this idea that even as elders Jenny and PT would be going at it like rabbits. I imagine it's loud and embarrassing and Johnny used to have to sleep with ear plugs and basically hated sleeping above them.

It is very cool, even if I probably wouldn't ever need to use most of it. It's so cc-heavy, I wouldn't want to keep it that way in the game. It bloats my downloads folder. When I add things like that for a scene, it's always temporary.

Didn't you do a really reaslistic birth scene in something? You could use a hospital for that. :)

YOU have a friend like Johnny? :P I've based a lot of him on my closest friend. The other half of that same friend went into Beau. Some of the conversations between Jill and Johnny end up a lot like conversations between me and that friend.

Yeah, I think that's definitely the way to go in the future. This was the first downloaded lot that caused me prolems like that, and some of them have been pretty big. *shurgs* I have no idea why this one was so tough on my game.

I KNEW it was Jenny, but others beat me to it. I wonder what Jenny would say to her. And If Don AND Circe are in that hospital, you know something is going down...

My friend is pretty much like a less smart version of Johnny. I'm sure Don would love to have his balls roughed up by Circe, but knowing her, it would probably be a complete castration. I think he values them a little too much to let that happen.

Yes, I do birth scenes, like this one...

but I create a temporary set (usally on the lot I'm playing, with three walls and just the bare necessities for the picture.) I zoom in so close most of the time anyway, that a lot of the background would be lost. :P

I'd like to do some kind of hospital soap opera thing with all the people who work there, etc. and show the hospital that way. But OMG I have enough going on right now, lolol!

I find it interesting to see which parts of sim life people choose to make more realistic, and it makes sense that you'd be more tuned in to this part of it. I'm perfectly happy with the sim realistic insta-birth, but I make other things more realistic.

That's a nice photo, and it definitely gives the right impression there. Making a temporary set is the way to go most of the time. I did that when I made a hospital scene a while back too. It was a whole room, so I could show enough to give a sense of the whole scene, but it didn't do any more than I had to.

Yes, I've noticed that you crop really closely in almost all of your sim photos. Why is that? Is it to avoid decorating? :P

That sounds like a good idea for your style of writing. You should do it. I like the idea of episodic things like that, since the pacing of legacy stories is usually too fast for my taste. I'm struggling a little with the idea of doing one whole generation in a single chapter for the round robin legacy. It takes a very different approach.

Inconsequential is about right for me too. Ajay has no connection to anyone in Strangetown, unless you add it yourself. He's meant to be a loner, off to himself, focusing on his career. I suppose it's possible to invent some interesting reason for him to be hiding away in Strangetown, but I prefer to use him as a peripheral character.

For my mega-hood story I was going to have a Circe/Jenny exchange myself. cool!
