It's nice to know that it made an impact on you. As for restraint, it can be tough at times. I do have some fairly long-term plans that will develop slowly, and not everything works out for everyone, which I think is realistic. Whenever I do feel a "...and then they made out" moment coming on, I allow myself to go with it... but it doesn't end up in the story!

I love playing the Grunts just for fun. I discovered something new just the other day (and I'm not sure if it will ever make it into the story in quite the same way, so I'll share). Try getting Tank and Ripp to do the "irritate - gross out" interaction on each other. Tank gets really pissed off when Ripp does it, but Ripp just laughs at all the gross things when Tank does it to him. It made me crack up, since that's exactly how I imagine them.
