New Banner - in progress

I'm working on a new banner, which I've title the "headshot banner" in my working images folder. You can see what I have so far at the top of the page. The focus is on the central characters, who are all roughly the same age. They're all pictured in a pose that I imagine they might take if someone was taking a photo of them.

I really need to play around with the page formatting. It looks okay in Firefox, but it's not great. At least you can see the navigation bar, but I'd love to be able to move that around for better placement. I'll force myself to learn this yet.

Anyway... just felt like it needed a change.

Glad you liked it! I'm thinking of doing another with Buck, Jill, Lucy, Beau, Bottom, Hal. I could add it to my user info page and do one big grid. I could do the older generation too, though I'm way more interested in this generation of sims.

Well, thank you for making the effort to do all that back-reading. It was a lot to get through. I'm glad to hear you liked it so far. :) Now I have to try not to disappoint.

It;s great to hear that the personalities come through. That was yet another brow pose for Johnny (I keep finding new ones - score!), and I like how it's a thinking pose, but he also looks like he's posing for the camera. It's a little dramatic and silly, which Johnny is, when he's not busy being serious. Yeah, I think about this way too much...

I did try to pick the colours to compliment the characters, so I'm glad you saw that. Tank just has to have his military green, right?

Tanks picture with the military green background is what caused me to notice the connection.

I think red is the perfect color for Ripp too. He's very passionate about everything that he takes an interest in, be it friends, lovers, music, etc

If only Tank was the sort to give people nicknames... which he isn't. It's far too whimsical for Tank. He's more of the type to use your last name exclusively, in the military style. He does call Frances "Worthington" most of the time.

Exactly. That was my reasoning for picking red for Ripp, down to the letter. Bold and passionate, and maybe a bit "too much" at times.

Thanks. I did like the old one, but was never fully satisfied with it either, and change is good.

Anyway, what it said was: I thought that FJW3 sounded like the name of a gun so I typed it in google images to see what would come up. The first thing that it showed? A military-style camo-jacket. :P

I'm sure you won't dissapoint. Actually, I don't think you really can at this point. The way you've got this set up, pretty much anything can go, and I'd still be happy. For example, Ophelia. She ends up with Johnny? Awwww, high school sweethearts. She ends up with Ripp? YESSSSSSS. She ends up with Johnny and Ripp? Can life get any better? Hahaha.

I, for one, am glad you think about it so much. It wouldn't be the same story any other way.

Well, I'm glad to hear that. The formatting isn't perfect, but it seems like most people are able to see it just fine, so that's good enough for now.

Thank you. I was surprised to find so many poses that use the arched brow in some way. It's fun to find new ones for Johnny, since he's develoved that as a personal quirk. :P The other banner was a little better for showing character dynamics, but I did place the portraits in this one to hint at the relationships too. Each character is placed next to others that are significant to them.

Thank you. :) What would I ever do without those animation boxes from Jaydee? They're so useful for stuff like this (and the story too, of course).
