When you have babies to deal with (like all those little Curiouses), playing too far ahead can really throw off the continuity, I find, that's why I'm trying not to. Also, tiny things like changing appearances can get in the way too. I have to send them to the mirror too much for my liking. I think really, really far ahead (and I write some of it too, like you do), but some of my long term plans also shift as I write. I had one particular thing planned, which would have been great for drama, but since writing the characters involved, I really couldn't believe it anymore. I'll mention it later, when I get up to that part.

There's nothing wrong with a little stealing, or "borrowing", as I prefer. Just about everything has already been done anyway, so why not be conscious about it when you can be?

Yes, Glam is a great name. I like it better than Glarn, really.
