Nah, I don't think you're getting it. It's not like a perfect environment with no distractions, and lots of creative slimulation. Creative boredom happens when you're trapped somewhere, against your will, with nothing to do, and no way to escape or do anything more productive. A perfect example would be being stuck in church (unless that's your thing, and you really get into it - but that was never the case for me).
Yeah, I think watching the same play five times in a row places me squarely there, in the land of creative boredom. Oh, and I've already seen this one twice, so by the end, it will be seven times. *sigh*
