I love that you, and many others, have mentioned having a soft spot for Tank. He's a really interesting character to explore. I've grown quite fond of him myself, despite the darker side of his character (or maybe because of it). The Ripp love pleases me too, of course. ;) It's always good to see more Ripp love.

Frances might just find what he's been looking for, very soon. ;) Not to give anything away, but he is going to meet someone, and it will be a very good thing for him.

As for Ripp's hair, I promise that we will see it in the second half of this chapter. It does make quite a difference too.
