Discussion: TS4 Conversation Post

Inspired by the disjointed conversation of Tumblr (and worry about annoying people with lost of text posts while attempting to have one, and so on...), I'd like to try to have a conversation here. What are you excited for in TS4 from what we've seen so far? The return of rotational gameplay? The breastfeeding option? The awesome cat vest?! Are you worried about the sim count and lot limit? Do you love or hate the style? Or are you over it all already? Let's hear it! :)

I'm not around as often as I used to be, so please talk amongst yourselves here as much as you like! I do get windows of time to participate (usually with a sleeping, teething baby worn on me in a carrier, or when my toddler wants to watch "the YouTubes"), so I will jump in whenever I can.

Also, hi! It's been a while. :) I miss this.

No Bella? No Mortimer? But, they've been using them in their previews? :'( oh this is a sad day. I was really looking forward to where they were going to take the story next.

Oh, I take it back, I just watched a vid and there was a second option with a lovely Volatile blonde colour ^-^

Hey! Long time no see. You mentioned the Grim Repear's new design - I can't seem to find it anywhere?

It has indeed been a long time! :D How are you?

You can have a look at Grim Reaper and his new awesomeness here:

- http://simsvip.com/2014/06/09/the-sims-4-the-grim-reaper-returns-and-has-new-tech/

I think what sold his concept to me was the Freezer Bunny. It totally suits how I perceive him as a character. :P

Ageing

All these great things they're taking out: toddlers, pools, teens-elder being adult. I, like some of you saw that the baby looks like the one from TS2. I can only hope they don't have TS2 style aging because I do not want to play a family that ages while the rest of the world stays the same. How do the rest of you feel about how the ageing will be in TS4?

Also, hi back. We miss you more.

I am good! I miss sims. Looking forward to TS4, but now having a few doubts. Still haven't got a computer to play it on, anyway, so maybe my qualms and queries will be redundant. How are you? How is Canberra? Wintertime at the moment, right? Anyway, Grimmy is looking cool. I'd like his robes to a little more elaborate, and all the pics we're getting are still so fuzzy, but I love the freezer bunny. I always knew that critter was in league with Death himself. You can't have a stare that demonic and not be. Death and the maiden? No, Death and the bunny.

There will be world wide aging if you enable it, but aging is all that non-played sims will do. They will get older and eventually die, to be replaced with new townies. They aren't going to hook up and get married or have kids on their own anymore though. If you want that to happen you need to play the family.

I'm the anon. And yeah I saw that. Which is terrible because thats what makes the world feel alive. Although, I'm pretty sure there will be mods to fix that, like Twallan's story progression.

I prefer it, truthfully. I hated how the the Sims 3 game would randomly stick sims together without any input from me and spawn babies that always seemed to grow up badly and end up with garbage traits. I'm sure they did it because they figured that with a small sized hood of only 25 lots total we would want more control over the population.

Everyone seems worried about TS4, which I understand, but I also understand where EA is coming from, and while I hate their obvious greedy attitude, there isn't much we can do about it. I don't know if my computer will be able to cope with TS4 either, but I do need to get a new one, so I know how you feel.

I'm well. I'm in Melbourne, actually, not Canberra - I don't know if it would be safe to put me in Canberra. The Prime Minister is there majority of the year, and I hate his guts, so if I see him walking down the street, I might lose my temper and throw food at him or something. Lol. Not really. I just wish I could do that. XD And yes, it is winter. I am at my parents's place at the moment, and they just have to live in the mountains where I freeze my toes off! Melbourne gets cold too, but not like this place. Doesn't help my parents have wooden floors instead of carpet like I have back home.

Grim looks awesome! I am really excited about his design in the game. Hopefully there will be a mod or something where we can use his costume like in TS2 for storytelling, because I am so writing a little story for his TS4 version...or something. :D
