Here's my response to this week's challenge over at [community profile] simstorytellers. The prompt was an image this week. I found this one a little harder to get into, and I think it was because I didn't get to create the image myself. That's usually such an important part of the thought process. I wonder if anyone else who did this challenge experienced that.

He's talking to me, running his lines, as if I really care. As if I can talk back. Like he cares. He just wants someone to talk at. The boy wouldn't play along, so he got angry, but it really doesn't make any difference. The boy would just do the same thing I'm doing.

At least I get to sit on the counter.

They're all a bunch of bores, caught up in their miserable, failing careers. Each performing for the rest of the family all day long, as if any of them are paying attention.

Actors. Is there anything worse?

Nice. I see you looked up the maxis story for them.

Have you played in their house? It's a pain in the butt to get around (with those two fire places in the living room!).

Yeah, I played with them once, and that's what I'm going on. I remembered them being actors. It caught my attention. I may even consider them for some role in my Strangetown story, since it's littered with actors already. They are just another bunch to added to the pile.

I do remember the fireplace, but I didn't run into any trouble with it. I probably just didn't play it long enough.
