Simblr
I've finally decided to give this tumblr thing a try. I've been lurking around on people's simblrs from time to time anyway, so I may as well create one myself, right?

Please feel free to follow me and also share a link to your simblr in the comments below, so I can follow you. I'm trying to stick to sims-only tumblrs, so if you post about a lot of other types of things (something random here and there is fine), I probably won't follow your tumblr. This is, of course, nothing personal. I'd just rather not have any off-topic material crowding my dashboard. It's much like my livejournal flist that way.
My first impression of tumblr is that I'll probably like posting random game images on it a whole lot. I have so many pics that never seem to make it onto my journal because they really have very little purpose and there's not too much I could say about them, or I'm not up for posting commentary, etc. Now I can just share these little snippets on my simblr. I still think I'll miss the actual written interaction, but I'll give it a chance.
So, yeah. Simblr. Have at it!

I think that's the best way to use Tumblr, and it's pretty much what I do. Random pictures just scream to be posted on that way, as people can just heart them and move on... But for things you've worked harder on - full home makeovers, buildings or challenge/story updates... I think they warrant an LJ post as you can discuss and comment on them here in much better way.
I look forward to your "Tumbles".
