GoS Secret Santa

I've decided to get involved with the secret santa exchange at Garden of Shadows again this year, now that my schedule has freed up a little. I'm really excited about it, and I think I was paired well. My santee and I seem to have similar interests. Now, if I can keep myself calm and not freak out worrying about the quality of my gifts, I'll be fine. :P

On a related note, I've added a section at the bottom of my CC Master List post to link to my Garden of Shadows shared content. I neglected to post about those here on my journal in the past, so if you're not a member of GoS, you might not have been aware of them. Hope you enjoy them!

I participated in secret Santa last year and it was so much fun. I didn't really care for the gifts that were sent to me, but my santee and I shared similar interests and I was so excited about giving my gifts I didn't care what my secret Santa gave me. The month of December is gonna be so stressful for me so I couldn't participate this year.
I am, however, doing something special for the holiday season that I'm SUPER excited about though... :P

I think I may do it this year as well, I did it a few years back and it was awesome, but I have been apprehensive ever since.. December is a good month.. I should probably give it a go!

Yeah, Van is right, but you could always volunteer to be a super secret santa. Or come up with a holiday project of your own.

I've never done the SS in December, but I did participate in the first Christmas in July, and it was a lot of fun. As I mentioned, I did worry a lot about creating enough or making work that was good enough, but it was fun to try to make something that your santee would like, based on the clues they give you. It's too bad you weren't too into your gifts last time, but I guess that happens sometimes. Ah, well. It's the thought that counts, right? ^_^

Ooooh, a special project? Care to share a hint or two about what it is?
