You're right about Frances. He really is a stubborn one, and also quite obsessive. Once he got the ball rolling in that direction, the momentum just kept building. He really wanted to believe that Tank might be gay, so he had more or less convinced himself that he was. I think that you can find evidence to support that from almost anyone if you're looking hard enough. Every one of Tank's actions was filtered through Frances' hope and thus imbued with meaning that probably wasn't there. If Tank does have any inclinations in that direction, they're sure to be well buried.
Once Frances picks up the pieces, he can finally move on.
WWJD! What would Johnny do? *snicker* I'm really glad that someone picked up on that. Everyone should use it.
Nervous is so weird. There were points in writing this chapter where I wondered if I was making him seem autistic, but the way that he's closed off is more voluntary. I really try to think about his crazy personality spread and how that would actually translate to a person. It definitely reveals someone who is uncomfortable with social interaction.
I agree. Everyone must love Nervous. :)
Awww, that's great. I want Buck to have lots of fangirls. She's so sweet, and yet, he's quite gutsy underneath his soft exterior (it's soft in several ways, really). How could anyone not love Buck?
