That was amazing! All of it! And so much happened - or nearly happened...
I don't think I commented on the first part of this chapter, but I will say that Vidcund seems to be a good example of the "seeing the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye while paying no attention to the plank in your own" proverb. (Looking forward to see more of Lazlo's version of his relationship with Crystal, btw) Thou shalt not trust evil scheming women, Vidcund! I really hope Circe gets what's coming to her eventually, in the meantime I'm curious too know what her plans are... I really hope that Nervous (and his wolf-poodle - woodle? poolf? - Wheezer) will be (somewhat) OK and safe though *worries*
I've been waiting for P.T.'s speech to Jill and I must say his timing is really shitty. I lol'ed when he said he had something important to tell her. He really should know that telling teenagers what to do might not be the best way to make them do what you want. Especially Jill! But I guess he's used to Johnny, who's much more eager to please than his sister. Kudos to her though, for standing up to him like that. "Most importantly, he wasn't a Grunt." Heh Jill, you took the words out of my mouth :)
And the trio... Man, I can't wait to see if the three of them will continue to work out or whether this whole maybe-little-too-intimate threeway friendship thingy will blow up in their faces bigtime. I myself hope for a happy ending, whatever that might imply ;) Johnny seems slightly too naive when it comes to Ripp these days, though. He's tying back his hair for her, goddammit!! But then again, Ripp does tie his hair back for Johnny too :) I'm also wondering what Ophelia wants from her two boys. Does she know herself? Always love their scenes - there's so much tension between them it makes me literally cringe sometimes! And Johnny imagining a future with the three of them together - that really made me giggle. And feel like hugging Johnny. And then Ripp. *grin*
There were actually a few scenes that I had to just skim through though - I was too embarrased to REALLY read/watch them. What I kept thinking throughout the scene with Buck and Jill was: "I really shouldn't be intruding here, lalalalaaa". But especially the one with Tank and Frances was too painful to be read with more than one eye open. (I'll go back and re-read everything later though ;) Being rejected when you're in such a vulnerable situation, putting your self and your feelings out there... We've all been there more or less, but Frances really did jump into it with both feet and exposed himself in a less than tactical way. Surprising Tank? Yeah, he'll be thrilled... Poor, poor stubborn Frances! I still hope their friendship can be saved...I guess we'll (among other things) have to wait for Tank to stop behaving so much like his father first. *sigh* Oh, and I'm also looking forward to know Kendall's agenda... I don't trust her.
Gah! Your write them all so well! :) Thanks for the wonderful entertainment - I'm already eagerly awating the next chapter. But no pressure, noooo sir, not at all! ;)
