I always take the "we really listened to the players" announcement with a graian of salt, given that the "players" they listen to are on the official BBS. Having said that, this time around there seem to be quite a few more mature players on the Sims 3 BBS so maybe they actually had a few decent ideas.

The EP does look really good. I am raging against the imaginary friend strutting even before the release of the EP (HATE HATE HATE the post public woohoo strut from LN) but apart from that minor personal niggle it looks like it's going to be a pretty solid EP.

I have to agree with redikolous and say that I don't think there has been what one might call a "bad EP" to date. I usually like the ones that add most to core in-hood gameplay and Generations looks to be one of those, too. I hope that they put in some nice stuff for elders because so far the previews have been concentrating on children, teens and (young) adults.
