Sim Shipping Wars!

Wooohooooo! Thanks to Ale at maxis_taste, we get to have our very own Maxis sim ship match. This pairs different ships head to head and then we vote for our favourites, round by round. This should be fun! The pairings can be canon to the original game setup (Bella/Mortimer, Jenny/PT, Oberon/Titania, etc.), from a story in our community, or from your own game. So get out there and represent your favourites!

(In the spirit of the original post, I won't get into details about my own shipping preferences, but I'm sure you have some idea if you read my stories. XD)

I definitely have my own shipping preferences. Not from my story, because those do not count (except from Gen 1), but from my experience playing the game and other stories. I hope this ends up as fun as it seems right now!

I think it should be fun. Then again, being ship wars, maybe it'll all end in tears. Or fisticuffs. There's no real way to tell. :P

Nah, this is the Sims fandom. We are all too busy wanking about how other people's custom content choices and the unappealing aesthetics of the Sims 2 and 3 to care too much about shipping (or so I hope!)

I actually have two opposing OTPs for Gen 1 ;D. And a lot of canon Maxis ones that I will submit to that Maxis Taste entry right now.

Very few of my ships are canon in the game setup. None of the ones I submitted are.

I think I know your two competing OTPs. ;) They're good ones. I tend to multi-ship my favourites, enjoying them in numerous configurations (Gee I wonder who I might be referring to! XD), but for my nominations, I chose my favourite match for each individual sim only (and stuck to my favourite sims, of course).

Thought you may like to know, that the limit was changed up to 8 ships. I noticed many were only mentioning one or two pairs/ot3s so it'll balance. :)

Feel free to edit, or add an extra reply for the rest if you want. I'll be posting a update with the changed limit soon. (and probably an add at thesims2 too)

And thanks for the promotion, too. So far we have a lot of replies, some pretty unique!
