Castaway Stories: Nanihi Manave

Nanihi Manave is one of the characters in the scripted part of Castaway Stories. She's a little girl in the story, and is the first native resident that Jessica (or David) meet on Felicity Island. I've long since finished the story mode, but continue to play (and breeeeed) with the entire extended cast. Nanihi is a fun one (her personality is 2,7,7,7,2), and she gets even better with age. She really begs for her own story, this one.

Here she is in the game storyline, after hyenas chase her up a tree.

And here she is as a teen. One day she'll be the chief of the tribe.

Isn't she striking? I love her pale blue eyes and dark skin. (All the skintones in CS are one shade darker.)

A profile shot to show how interesting her features are.

Many of the characters in CS have very unique faces. There's some templatism, of course (especially on Wanmami Island), but it's quite diverse overall. I'm thinking of importing some of the sims to my regular game. If only I could play some of them on Twiikii Island... I suppose I could always use the hood template to make a separate version, if I were so inclined.

Beware about importing the 'Hood - It uses a Larger Terrain Map than what is readable in the Normal game [which is why the island is so HUUUUGE!] and if attempted to place as a normal 'Hood.. Well, it tries to compensate, but it kinda borks up; No Roads mean Lots fly about, Terrain is 1/4 of what it should be with all lots and everything else inside a void between nothingness, and the 'Hood Deco gets crammed to one side of the terrain. GFBVFS all right!!

I wish Larger Terrains were possible in the normal game.. Allong with the Water effects.. Oh, and... LOL!

Oh, no worries! I was talking about Twiikii, not Felicity Island. I could always make it a regular hood instead of a vacation destination, is what I meant. I'd never have the nerve to import the CS islands, what with their lack of roads and all. It's so different, I wouldn't have thought it possible, but I'm amused to hear what happens when one tries that. XD

The water affects are nice. They're a little beyond the graphics of the sims (they used to stick out really badly, I thought), but they're a lot prettier than the regular game.
