Thank you. If you like lots of Ripp, you can never go wrong around here. Believe it or not, I actually try not to make him the focus of every chapter. I just can't help myself most of the time. Luckily, most people don't seem to mind. ;)
I've been reading up on film conventions a lot lately. My SO gave me one of the texts he uses in one of his courses. It's been very useful and inspiring for adding some film elements like those pull away shots. It's nice to be learning more about that stuff (and exposes a lot of mistakes in my photography from a film point of view, like how I occasionally "cross the line" in my shots).
(And it's always annoying when you get a bad connection like that. Thanks for persevering!)
