Again with the Header Image...

Thank you for all the great input on my last post! As expected, I got a pretty wide range of opinions, but it all did help to guide me to a decision.

Ripp's nosehairs all the way. (For Madame Ugly, of course. Heheheh. I see you giving me the evil eye over there.)

But really, I'm going to go the "best of both worlds" route as many of you suggested, following the style of the current header, but using the entire extended cast in one way or another. This will involve some individual character shots, if they're central enough to the story, and many that group relevant sims together, like families (such as the entire Smith/Curious tribe), relationships and/or friendships (JRO, Pascal and Nervous, Tank+Frances+Beau+Lucy, etc.), and other groups (such as the Shifting Paradymes, Erin and the clones, and so on). The main characters will get more face time by virtue of their place in more of the central relationships and conflicts. Everybody wins.

I think I'll go with either an animated gif or try to figure out how to set up the HTML to randomly present a different image every time the page loads. Either way, I have some research to do, as both would be a first for me.

Maybe I'll try to get an actual chapter update out first, though. What do you think?

I would like another chapter! But I love the idea of an animated gif/random image on reload (and not just because I suggested the gif). That code that simsinthecity seems perfect! I don't know what editing programs you use, but the photoshop I use has animation options, so if you have that then making a long view time on the images shouldn't be hard.
