Or at least a fairly long story excerpt. It's not a chapter as much as a piece I had written for use in a later chapter (which I will likely still do) that matches the criteria for the maxis_taste dare this month. I'll present it the way I do the other story snippets, but it's quite a bit longer than most.

I feel very excited to have something to update again! ^_^
