Strangetown Extras: Testing out some hair

I was shooting some photos for the next update the other day and decided to play around with the mirror. One of the recent male hairs by simgaroop really appealed to me, so I thought I'd rave about it a little. But who did I model it on? You have three guesses and the first two don't count. ;)








I really like it. Who knows? Maybe Ripp will grow his hair out again later, and I'll get to use it. (Though, realistically, a possible receeding hairline would make this a bad idea all around for Ripp. Then again, he is like, what, 22-23 years old in the story right now. He has some time to play around with it).

I also tried Nouk's happy braids on Phi, and they look great. I can see switching back and forth between that and the M&G stuff hair with the headband for her.

I'm happy I requested that hair from Simgaroop because Ripp looks so HOT with this hairstyle. It was totally worth it!

Wow! Yes, I remember when you were looking for a short ponytail style for Ripp... and this would have been perfect with the loose hair around the face!

I vote he totally needs to go long again. :P Maybe he just gets too lazy to keep going back to the barbershop for trims or something, lol!

I usually don't like hairstyles that get in the sims eyes and face that much but it looks right on Ripp. I shouldn't be surprised though, he can pull of pretty much anything :P

Oooo, sexy. But I'm not sure if it's what he needed back when you were looking for a shorter ponytail. Didn't you want something that made his hair look neater, not more messy? ^_^ Maybe I am remembering wrong!

Yeah Ripp can really work that hair. But I don't know maybe it's the facial expression, but he comes across as being a bit brooding, with an edgey dark side. He sort of reminds me of the DC Comics "Nightwing" character from about 10 or so years ago.

Haha! This reminded me of something my history teacher said during a movie that we were watching, that Benjamin Franklin went bald because he had syphilis. I wonder if that's actually true, though.
