Prosperity Challenge: James Fisher is awesome.

I've been playing with the prosperity neighbourhood a little bit, and I just had to share one of my new favourite sims with you.

James Fisher is a nerd, and he's awesomely awesome!

Don't you just love him to bits? I certainly do! I like that he randomly transitioned into that sharp blue plaid shirt too. It really goes with his whole look. He's a family sim.

Any thoughts on Maxis lineage? Hint: he is the product of three different Maxis sims (his mother is the product of two, and the family is a direct clone), but he looks mostly like just one of them.

I still have to reply to everyone's comments on the last couple of Strangetown chapters, so my apologies about the delay. It's been pretty busy and I also just haven't been up to it. I've been picking away at them, and I will do more after work.

He's really cute! Huggable, I think.

Hmm....he's definitely cute, but as for who he's related to.....I'm not sure. Are we just talking Strangetown here? I think you mentioned you're using some from the other neighborhoods, but if could narrow it down to Strangetown, that would be kinda helpful.

(I'll just throw out a guess now, anyway. Is there anyone from the Nigmos family involved?)

Hmm, is he related to Buck? The lips are very similar, not to mention the blond hair.

I think he looks like Jill Smith. Actually now I'm imagining a Buck/Jill flavor, lol. I'm probably way off, though. I'm not good at guessing these things. He is cute, though. Love the plaid shirt and the glasses. ;)

He reminds me a lot of Buck Grunt, especially through the eyes.

In my defunct Strangetown I had one kid grow up to be the perfect nerd. he had the look, he was shy, I gave him the glasses, the whole nine yards. He was the best.

James looks like a great kid. Hope you have some fun with him.

I see Johnny Smith in there, I think, but I'm just using his thin lips and long chin for that basis. And Ripp.

I'll take a guess and if it's direct Strangetown residents... I'll guess Ripp/Johnny/Ophelia.

I definitely think it's a Grunt nose!

:D I was going to guess that, but I haven't found the Ophelia in him yet.

Who has brown eyes? Nervous does... hmmm. It will be interesting when she tells us!

I guess the blonde could be Phi's, but I think I see more Johnny and the Grunt boys, mostly. ^_^

Actually, I looked a little closer and I see both Johnny and Jill, especially based on

dothesmustle's comment about the nose. And I may hazard to guess some Buck went in there, but that may just be the soft expression combined with blond hair.

Just a comment to respond to all of you (I just got home)... The colouring of the hair, eyes, and skin will not help you, as that has been randomized.

You are right about Johnny Smith. His clone was his grandfather (that's him on the couch back there, and you may notice that he isn't green in this 'hood). I think that there is a good chance that it may be Johnny's chin, but the lips might not be. I'll have to double check the father's lips to be sure. Those do look like Johnny's lips though... so that might be right.

James' grandmother was also from Strangetown, and is normally a female (I did change the sex of one cloned sim), but hasn't been guessed yet.

His father is one of the two Pleasantview clones in this 'hood, and that is who James looks the most like. I agree that the nose is a little Gruntish, but no Grunts were used in the creation of this sim. *wink*

Definitely huggable. Maybe it's the big round belly (and chubby cheeks).

No, no Nigmos here. (Though she is present in this 'hood somewhere.)

Yeah, you're right, Buck has lips like that too, doesn't he?

I have begun to realize that all male sim lips are very similar, though. The game makes them extremely thin, no matter what. I made Mr. Doe's lips bigger to match my source material, and Jayne ended up with extremely large lips (to the point of having freakish lines in them at times - since it must push the limits of the game in some way).

I see that as a flaw in the way the game does genetics. I definitely have male relatives that have the exact same full lips that I do. Not all men have thin lips.

Heheh. I LOVE plaid and glasses, so maybe that's why I could just eat him up. ;) (I HEART nerds.)

It's not Jill or Buck, but I can see where you got that.

(On a related note, I was "checking out" the genetics of potential Jill/Buck babies in CAS, and aside from the nose and eyes, Jill and Buck have almost the EXACT same face! No joke. It was a little weird.)

Nerds are great. I love giving sims a distinct style like that, and so few of the premade sims come styled like that.

Another great feature of that sim randomizer was how it dictated that many sims would be "fat". I like the forced variety. I have been pondering the inclusion of more overweight sims in Strangetown too, but the The Cove is naturally more diverse.

Buck isn't related to this sim, but he did get represented in this 'hood somewhere.

I'm getting a Daniel Pleasant/either twin daughter vibe from him.

The colouring is not true to the Maxis colours (it was randomized), so that won't help you.

Well, there's a couple of exceptions, aren't there? There's that popular blond Downtownie who's got VERY full lips, for example, and the dark-skinned, brown-haired Downtownie ("Hef") passes on fairly big lips to his children even though his own aren't that big. But yeah, I know what you mean - it's hard to come across male sims that don't have really thin lips.

So he's not related to Buck? Hmmmmm......

The No. 1 face template has rather large lips, so that's why the "green glasses guy" has them, even as a male.

The female versions of male lips are always way bigger than the male versions, so even males with small lips can pass on large lips.

It's a little annoying to me that making a male sim with large lips equals extremely large lips in any female offspring. There should be a difference, but probably not that much.

Nope, not Buck... keep guessing. ;)

I think the PV sim might be a Broke, I'm thinking either Brandi or Beau I'm thinking eye shape is Beau's.
