Hey, to be fair, these are only image continuity errors. They're not as bad as slip ups in the plot (though I have those too, here and there).

You mean after they went home? It's actually detailed at the end of Chapter 29, when Frances and Beau come home from the wedding to find Tank there with Sugar Tits. If you recall, Tank got a hug that night too.

Thank you. There's also something there about the fact that Ripp took over Johnny's role for him. I thought the play was a nice metaphor there, and it was also a useful device to frame the whole chapter.
